Dedicated to changing the world through the fusion of art, coffee and consumer responsibility, 3-19 Coffee grew out of a community-based project in Honduras. The co-founders travelled to Santa Elena where they sponsored art activities and got to know the community and local farmers through communal events. It’s these same people who 3-19 now source their coffee from. 3-19 ensures that the communities they buy their coffee from always benefit economically, socially and environmentally, even setting aside a portion of their profits for social projects in the communities where they work. This means that every cup of coffee you get at 3-19 comes with a conscience.

And the benefits of a 3-19 coffee don’t stop there. They also partner with local San Fancisco artists to bring you uniquely designed canisters, showcasing their work and connecting artists with coffee enthusiasts. They’re committed to getting to know and helping the artists they work with in every way possible, meeting them in person and even producing a promotional video to help increase their reach. So 3-19 coffee is good for both Honduran and SF communities at the same time.
The SF location of 3-19 is also a great place to hang out. With a full espresso and coffee menu starting at just $3 a cup, it's not a bad deal for an ethical cup-full. The vibe is relaxed with wooden tables, exposed brick walls and plenty of natural light coming through the large windows and the staff are always happy to have a chat. It's the perfect place to grab a cappuccino before work or sit with your laptop, all the while knowing you're making a difference to communities both at home and away.
