The cozy minimalism of Café Madeline’s unassuming interior belies the real reason we love it: a surprisingly deep, well-rounded menu on which nothing so far has been a disappointment.
Get there early to try the cheddar-chive biscuits that are known to run out quickly, or visit for a low-key brunch and try something like the farm egg scramble, with eggs, spinach or mushroom and pecorino served on sourdough.
You’ll find something to love if coffee is your jam, since Madeline has a full espresso bar rounded out with signature drinks like a lavender latte or a rose latte with real petals.
One last tip: Go during the week if you want to avoid waiting in a line out the door on Saturday or Sunday.
