SoMa StrEat Food Park is our favorite place to spend a chilled night of eating, drinking and socializing (often with a view of a game). This street food market is always buzzing in the evenings, providing the perfect backdrop for a weekday night out.

SoMa StrEat Food Park plays daily host to a selection of curated food trucks with some of the best food that SF has to offer. With everything from pizza to Thai food, to empanadas and poke bows, there’s something for every taste. And with different vendors everyday, you’ll never get bored of the same dish. Although it’s hard to pick a favorite, we love the Korean fried chicken and garlic fries by Kokio Republic, one of the best-value SF eateries we’ve found and a regular returning star at SoMa StrEat Food Park.

And it’s not just about the food. SoMa StrEat Food Park also has large TV screens and carnival games to keep you entertained, all with a side of reasonably priced beer and wine. Describing itself as a “culinary playground,” it’s certainly more on the play side than your average restaurant, with regular special events (like “Avocado Con”), game screenings (like Warriors games) and trivia nights to keep you entertained. There’s even free WiFi for those who like to stay connected while they play.
Sit outside in the San Francisco sun next to one of the conveniently placed heat lamps or hop on board the Magic Bus for an indoor seating experience beyond the norm.
Open every day for lunch and dinner and from Monday to Saturday until 9 p.m., SoMa StrEat Food Park is the perfect place to relax after work and try a little bit of everything, from bao buns, to Merlot, to your first Warriors game.
