Tell us a bit about yourself.

All my life I lived on Sakhalin island (close to Japan) before I left to I study linguistics and philosophy at a university in St. Petersburg. I love fashion, cinema, design and anything art-related. I enjoy creating music, films and beautiful aesthetic clothing; it all inspires me so much. Now I’m 20 and I live in Japantown, San Francisco, which is ironically very close to my home culture. Here I’m starting a new life and making my dreams come true!

What's your favorite Outpost memory?

I adore our house. Everyone can find something to do and I found plenty of friends here. We always have fun, cook delicious food, explore the city and the beautiful nature of California!

What’s your favorite part of San Francisco?

Our house is located in Japantown, which reminds me of my childhood, I feel at home here! There are so many cool Japanese restaurants and I love the Batteries to Bluffs Trail; you can see the Golden Gate there! Nature in San Francisco and California is amazing and I highly recommend the vintage stores. I also like to visit the cult cities of the Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz, because I love the beaches there! Go to Tahoe if you want to see beautiful mountains.

What are you working on now?

I'm actually getting ready for college. I want to go to film school and consolidate my knowledge. I'm also working on making sure life in the Japantown house runs smoothly!
