Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Chris Ward, I’m 32 and I’m from Philadelphia.
What brought you to NYC?
I came to NYC for a new job opportunity. I work in a hospital as an IT programmer.
What have been your best experiences here?
My best experience here has been hanging out with new friends made at Outpost! It’s not a shameless plug, I honestly mean that, haha! Being new to the city, it has been a great way to get to know people, make new friends and have a great time.
What do you think of coliving?
Coliving has a lot of advantages, but the key for me is the people. It reminded me of MTV Real World the first day I walked into the Outpost house at Flatbush! Such a diverse group, it’s pretty cool to be around. The downside is obviously we like our space as people. Eventually, I’m sure I’ll want that back, but for now, I’m lovin it!
What's been your best experience in the time you have stayed with Outpost?
Good question, we have done a lot of things since I’ve been here! We just had a 90s party that was a lot of fun! I haven’t had a house party like that in a while, it was perfect nostalgia and good times!
What are the 5 fun things we should know about you?
1) I’m stoked for an upcoming trip to Colombia
2) I am a Latino that can’t speak Spanish or dance a good Salsa (I am working hard on both!)
3) I am also a writer and independent filmmaker
4) my pen name is CV Ward
5) I have just released a short teaser comic on Facebook! (Ok, this IS a shameless plug!) would love it for people to go check it out and give feedback on the short survey linked on it.
