Always having someone to come home to

Big cities can be lonely, particularly if you live on your own or choose an apartment where the roommates write in their ad that they “keep to themselves.” At Outpost, there’s always someone to come home to at the end of the day, whether it’s members in your own apartment or in the common areas of your house. Even if you don’t feel like talking, it’s nice to know you have the option to whine about your job over a glass of wine while you cook or watch Netflix in the common area.

All the fun social events

Outpost runs regular events in our houses, with everything from wine and cheese nights to special celebrations on holidays. These events are a great way to bond with your roommates and meet new people and they’re always free for members.

Recent events have included a neon glow party, a Mexican Independence Day party and even an ice cream social. Our philosophy is to include everyone and we always have things to see, taste and do at our events. 

A bigger network than in a regular rental

Coliving at Outpost gives you a much larger network than you would find in more traditional accommodation because all our members are linked by their membership to Outpost Club, no matter what house they live in. This means that you can meet members from any number of our houses at our events, expanding your social circle far beyond the confines of your individual house. And of course, if you have gold membership you can even hop around houses in your city to experience life (and the social life) at other Outpost locations.

We have Facebook groups for each of our houses where events and hang outs are posted as well as a Facebook Group which spans all houses across your city. Members can post in the Facebook group and invited anyone from any of our houses to attend events or simply hang out for an evening. We have an atmosphere of inclusion at Outpost, so you’ll never find yourself without something to do or someone to see that new exhibition with.

Networking with like-minded individuals

Outpost naturally attracts like-minded individuals and many of our members have networked without even intending to, especially because of the coworking areas within our houses. With the vast amount of members who you’ll have the chance to meet, you’re bound to find someone with similar professional or creative interests to you. We’ve had members collaborate musically together, form writer’s groups and even help each other onto the employment ladder. The possibilities are endless, afterall.
