We make it easy to get settled—and stay connected. If your first week doesn’t feel like the right fit, you may request one complimentary move to another available Outpost location. No stress, no penalties, just freedom to find your fit.
Eligibility
Who qualifies: New residents in good standing (no outstanding balances or policy violations).
Eligible stays: Outpost bookings for stays of 3 months or longer.
What counts as “7 days”: Seven (7) consecutive calendar days from your official check-in date (Day 1 = check-in day).
What the Guarantee Includes
One complimentary move per resident per booking. No exceptions.
Where you can move: Any Outpost-operated building within the same metro area where Outpost has availability..
Room type: You may transfer to an available room type (private/shared) subject to inventory. In most cases, we can offer 2–3 relocation options for you to choose from.
How to Request a Move
Request window: Submit your request by 11:59 PM on Day 7 after check-in.
How to submit: Use the designated Move Request form or email the Community Team (timestamp governs eligibility).
Eligibility: Submitting your request within 7 days makes you eligible for one free relocation, but the move itself will take place after a minimum 30-day notice period from the date of your request.
Conditions: All relocations are subject to availability and to your compliance with lease terms, community guidelines, and payment obligations.
Pricing & Payments
Rate differences:
If the new room’s monthly rate is higher, you’ll pay the higher pro-rated amount from the move date onward.
If the new room’s monthly rate is lower, you’ll receive a pro-rated credit from the move date onward.
Promotions & discounts: One set of incentives applies—no stacking. If your original booking had a promo, Outpost will apply the better of (a) your original promo or (b) any active promo for the new room at the time of transfer, but not both.
Deposits & fees: Your security deposit transfers to the new room. No transfer fee is charged under this program.
Condition, Logistics & Responsibilities
Room condition: The original room must be vacated by 11AM on the confirmed move date, with all belongings removed, keys returned, and the space left clean and undamaged. Cleaning or damage charges may apply if standards aren’t met.
Utilities & services: Utilities, house rules, and community guidelines continue unchanged.
Moving logistics: Residents are responsible for their own packing, transport, and timing. Outpost does not provide storage or moving services.
Lease & Term Considerations
No cancellations: This is not a right to cancel the lease or stay. The original end date and minimum-stay commitments remain in force.
No cash value: The Guarantee has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for refunds or rent credits beyond the pro-rations described above.
Single-use policy: The complimentary move can be exercised only once during the 7-day window. Subsequent moves (if any) follow standard policies and fees.
Fair-Use & Exclusions
Good-faith use: The Guarantee is intended to help you find the right living environment, not to secure event-driven short stays, avoid rate changes, or game promotional offers.
Behavioral or payment issues: Residents with policy violations, nuisance complaints, or payment delinquencies are ineligible for transfer under this program.
Availability constraints: Specific buildings, room types, or dates are not guaranteed; blackouts may apply during peak periods or emergencies.
Program Window & Changes
Program period: Applies to check-ins through December 31, 2025. Eligible requests must be submitted within the 7-day window after check-in, even if the move occurs later.
Modifications: Outpost may modify or discontinue the program with notice. Changes won’t affect residents already within an active 7-day window at the time of change.
Disputes & Governing Rules
Final determination: Eligibility, availability, and compliance are determined by Outpost management in its reasonable discretion.
Compliance: All moves are subject to the lease/license agreement, House Rules, and applicable laws.
The termination agreement is signed for the lease from which you depart. And you will be offered to sign a new lease for the unit you will be moving in.
